"Samsung Galaxy Grand Quattro"  It’s a Real Winner!

          Samsung has officially launched a new quad-core variant of its mid-range Android phablet, Galaxy Grand at a price of Rs. 16,900.

          However, the phone has been selling online since last week. The dual-SIM phone is being sold as the Galaxy Grand Quattro and is selling on online retail stores including on Tradus, and HomeShop18  for Rs. 16,449 ( Dtae: 22.05.2013)

         The Samsung Galaxy Grand Quattro is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and has 1GB of RAM. It runs Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and runs Samsung's TouchWiz UI layer on top. It also offers Motion UI that allows users to control the phone when a certain move is detected. For instance flipping the phone can mute it while receiving a call.

           Unlike the Grand Duos, which has a 5-inch screen, this smartphone sports a 4.7-inch TFT display with a resolution of 480x800 pixels. The phone's camera has also been downgraded if one compares it to the Galaxy Grand Duos' camera. It sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with auto-focus and a VGA front facing camera, while the Grand Duos comes with an 8-megapixel rear shooter and a 2-megapixel front camera. It comes with 8GB internal memory expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.The Grand Quattro has a 2,000mAh battery.
